She was kidnapped for ransom by mercenaries and was eventually saved by Lucien and his crew who happened to run into the band of mercenaries. As a way to pay them back, Nana offered them to stay at her place until they heal up for the road. Realizing how attached she got to the group of people, her entire life being spent secluded in the woods as she found more peace yet having the urge to taste the world of adventuring, she soon joined them as their medic/healer with the hope to find her place in the world amongst others.
